So much shit to do at work With a 5 minute lunch; a rush to Court, and a whole new stack of work allover again. And a boss who refuses to work. I like him, just wished he would work a bit.
Fucking tired. Not in the mood for anything. Yes, I am grumpy just like that. STFU and go away if you have something fucked up and shitty to say.

I love my job. No, seriously, I love it a lot. I like my boss, I like the secretary. They make me feel at home and confortable at all times. They make me feel important in the firm. They don't treat me like an intern at all, but a very useful staff member. Currently dealing with many different cases, from domestic violence to adultery to criminal cases such as giving false statement to the police officer and Court.
Despite the coutless case files stacking up on my table as each day passes by, I think I'm managing them pretty well. Till now, I've been able to complete the tasks properly and meet deadlines. It feels even better when the client shakes your hand and tells you that you have done a good job, capturing eveything she wants in the Affidavits. I know I will feel even better and more accomplished when the Divorce Petition is granted in her favour and the PPO order dropped against her. Her husband is a serious bastard through and through. The nonsensical allegations and accusations he threw at my client without any susbtantial evidence to credit them to are seriously hilarious. Like my boss, Mr Tan once said over lunch; "no point telling a grandmother story, just throw 5 atomic bombs to get your case across. Always remember, quality over quantity."
I'm just glad and thankful I was chosen to join Tan Jee Ming and Partners. I'm even more grateful for the wide exposure my boss has given me. From attending hearings and PTCs in front of the DRs at the Subordinate Courts to the Supreme Court and even the Family Court. Man, I must say the Family Court experience was the best. First time I've ever stepped into Court 6, or even the Family Court.Oh, the Bar Room experience at the Subordinate Courts was freakin' cool too! Sitting with a wide circle of lawyers, discussing about their cases and bastarding one another, these people are really intelligent people with that humorous and bastardic side to them. I love to listen to what they say. They just bring so much thoughts to ponder about into your brain filled with mundane Affidavits.
Alright, time to prepare for my 2nd week of internship. More Court hearings and trials to attend. Hope to receive a new case soon. I know I will be getting alot more than now, cause my boss has already told me, "this is nothing. It's just the beginning." Thank you.
Reported to office at 8:30am. Headed to the Subordinate Courts for a PTC in Court 24 at 9am Started working on my 2nd reply to Affidavit. Drafted letter to the client after PTC. Drafted attendance note for yesterday’s case (TW). Completed both the 2nd and 3rd replies to Affidavits! Run through with Mr Tan. Some editing to be done. Boss say not bad! Song boh! But must add in a bit of stuff.
Lunch with Joseph and JunPing and XXXX was weird and awkward, right Joseph? HAHAHAH you LCB. Secretly smiling at one corner.
Reported to office at 8:55am. Started working on my first reply to Affidavit. Sat in at a client meeting with Mr Tan. Took down attendance note. Carried on working on the reply to Affidavit. Completed at 6pm. Heng ah boss say my affidavit ok. If not I cry on the spot for you.
Sidenote: received exam results. 2Bs, 1C and 1D. Nothing glamorous. Where did my A for MLOCT go too?! Anyways, congrats to Wine for your seriously amazing grades; and congrats to Sheena, Red, KJ, Max, Austin, Ammar and Shep (well these were the people I met today) for passing everything!

Really funny and intelligent, but bastardic people, I must say. 1115am: Leaves Subordinate Court for office. 1130am: Start drafting attendance note and email to client. 12noon: DONE! Perusal by Mr Tan. All Clear. 1210noon: Do some filing for Iris. 1230noon: Heads out for lunch with Mr Tan. SAKAE SUSHI treat! Taught me a whole load of seriously cool and useful life tips. Thank you Sir. 0145pm: Back to the office. Briefing by Mr Tan on domestic violence case. 0230pm: Takes all 3 files to my desk and start reading. Formulating the reply to Affidavits. 3 Affidavits. 0415pm: Returned on behalf of Mr Tan the Civil Procedure book to Warren Tan. Sharyl why your firm so nice. 0440pm: Dispatch routine at Maxwell Tower (is it?). 0450pm: Carry on reading 50+ pages affidavits. Woah. Confusing. 0520pm: Starts photocopying affidavits for my own reading at home. 0545pm: Leaves office.
SATURDAY, 8th September 2007 School for pre-SIP briefing. Met my LO. Mr Ferlin! Headed home. Slept like a f-ing log. Met KJ at Jurong at night. Went to Joseph's place. Walao confusing ah Jurong. SUNDAY 9th September 2007 Drove down to Tanjong Pagar and saw my firm. Sibeh shiok. Locted just above a whole row of pubs and clubs. Headed to town. Got my suit from ZARA and random $19 sale tops from Future State. Calvin Klein 40% Sale. Bagged a bag home. $399 down to $240. Walk also got wind in the face one.

I think I've slept too much for the past few days after the Company Law paper; like at least 10 hours a day, such that sleeping at night these days has been a huge problem for me. Well, that is the problem right? I think so. I hope so. I've been doing a lot of shit these few nights to make the nights shorter, and making sleeping at night alot less tedious and tiring. Sleeing is tiring. Pshhh. WTH.
