TJM-Day #1

Yes, I'm the Singhto who started my internship a day earlier than the rest. Exciting day, I must say. Catching the early train, rushing with the peak hour crowd, becoming an official working adult.

845am: reported to office. Iris gave me the case file to read.
930am: Iris tells me hearing is at 10am, not 930am as stated in the schedule.
950am: Mr Tan strolls into the ofice in his berms and GUESS floral shirt.
10am: We leave the office. Oh my. This is real. We are going to Court!
1015am: Hearing in Chamber F. Sat throughout.
1040am: Leaves Chamber F for the Bar Room. Met a whole load of lawyers and such. Really funny and intelligent, but bastardic people, I must say.
1115am: Leaves Subordinate Court for office.
1130am: Start drafting attendance note and email to client.
12noon: DONE! Perusal by Mr Tan. All Clear.
1210noon: Do some filing for Iris.
1230noon: Heads out for lunch with Mr Tan. SAKAE SUSHI treat! Taught me a whole load of seriously cool and useful life tips. Thank you Sir.
0145pm: Back to the office. Briefing by Mr Tan on domestic violence case.
0230pm: Takes all 3 files to my desk and start reading. Formulating the reply to Affidavits. 3 Affidavits.
0415pm: Returned on behalf of Mr Tan the Civil Procedure book to Warren Tan. Sharyl why your firm so nice.
0440pm: Dispatch routine at Maxwell Tower (is it?).
0450pm: Carry on reading 50+ pages affidavits. Woah. Confusing.
0520pm: Starts photocopying affidavits for my own reading at home.
0545pm: Leaves office.
